TECC (The European Compliance Conference) is arguably Europe’s leading, international conference for Senior Compliance Professionals.  TECC is unique; it is organised ‘by Compliance - for Compliance’ and its format has proved very successful over the past 20 years with Compliance Officers attending from 20 different countries, and attracting 200 delegates.

Pre-COVID it was held in various European cities.  The last in-person conference was held in Brussels in 2019.   TECC 2022 will be a virtual conference held on-line 20-22 September 2022.

Senior/Expert speakers from regulators, law firms and compliance practitioners are regularly invited to participate in the programme.

The conference agenda addresses key regulatory and compliance issues in a pragmatic way with well-informed and thought provoking plenary discussions and hands-on workshop sessions.  It is an extremely friendly conference, with a relaxed and warm ambience and its rich format allows a unique chance to build contacts, compare best practices and discuss fresh approaches to new and on-going challenges.  This conference offers an invaluable opportunity to interact with experts and colleagues from across Europe and beyond.

TECC is organised voluntarily by compliance officers from the financial services industry.  The Conference Planning Committee is made up of representatives from several European countries.

TECC was initiated in 2000 by SHCOG (Securities Houses Compliance Officers Group), a well-established association for UK based compliance officers working in the capital markets.  SHCOG is a self-help, not for profit organisation aiming to promote education and networking within the compliance community.

TECC’s organisers aim to offer the highest standard of event at the lowest possible delegate cost – keeping the conference fees well below those charged by commercial conference organisers.
